Reading and learning doesn't stop when someone graduates. With a background in Electrical Engineering, it would get quite boring to read books about calculus and PnP junctions all the time, and everyone has a basic background. This is not that list.
This list is what has been pursued since. From Astrology to Ancient Aliens to philosophy and religion. The list provided here is what I have read in pursuit of understanding what is commonly referred to as "the Human Condition".
Much of my collection is in direct opposition of each other in view and intent. The reason for it; is to research as many different view points on any given subject, so that I can honestly say that I truly have analyzed any given subject in it's entirety.
Some of my books were published in the mid-20th century. Some of the terminology is reflective of society of the time. Do not take trivial offense to issues of race or gender. It is just how people communicated back then.
Not everything listed is fact-based literature. Some of it relates to how people used to think and what they believed. Other's are stories that important to philosophy, faith, and American history. All of it will make someone think a little deeper and if read, the reader will know a little more. Even the gold prospecting stuff, because, as we will find out in later posts/articles, there is a lot to be learned from simple mining. Some of it is religion, but not just one religion. I tried to have as wide of a view of the human experience as I could. I feel that I have touched upon just about every significant aspect of human behavior since the Ice Age, in one text or another.
If you have reference to literature that you feel would be worth mentioning, feel free to add your own readings.
